She choose to continue her education at Pennsylvania culinary in Pittsburgh right after graduating high school. From there she worked at prestigious city clubs, restaurants and bakeries for numerous years. Once children came into the picture she moved back to her home town and began Erika's Cakery from her mother's home kitchen. It is through many years of hard work and dedication that a brick and mortar location was formed. In a neighboring town she and her husband found the perfect location to bring Erika's dream to life.
